Artist's Description
This Catholic chapel is a historic site (built in 1930's) and visited by Pope John Paul II in 1993 during his visit to Colorado for World Youth Day. Now known as Camp St. Malo, it was built east of Rocky Mountain National Park and inspired by the Biblical phrase "upon this rock I will build my church". It has recently survived a fire and rock/mudslides. It is truly a beautiful site against the mountains.
About David Meznarich
I'm a semi-professional photographer with a love for landscape and travel photography. Most of my photographs are taken while traveling the world. Almost all are shot in the moment, as I'm walking around enjoying the scenery. I live in San Antonio, TX but travel frequently and I'm always looking for something new. I do wedding, event and individual photo shoots on request. Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at my photography.
