The Hilton Palacio del Rio is a San Antonio landmark built in conjunction with the 1968 World's Fair (Hemisfair) and bringing the world to San Antonio. During the holidays it is decorated with lights front and back. On the front is a Christmas tree in green with the word NOEL spelled out. On the back is simple red and green blocks. Behind the hotel stands the Tower Life building which also changes its lighting scheme for the holidays.
